Interested applicants can apply via one of two categories:

Open: Applicants/teams who have a project and wish to submit their proposal for grants funding.
- Grantees who are looking to receive funding for grants ≤ $500 may wish to consider our
Verse Community Fast Track Program

RFP Initiatives: Request for Proposals issued by the Verse team where we will provide funding for specific projects from time to time.

What/Who We Look For
Assessment Criteria
Grant money is not free money. Rather, the goal of sponsorships is to promote the long term sustainability of the Verse community and wider ecosystem growth.
When assessing projects, applicants encouraged to keep in mind the following criteria:
- Open Source: Projects should be open-sourced based to encourage a growing, learning community.
- Benefits for Verse: A project must be able to demonstrate clearly the value it brings to the Verse community.
- Proven Track Record and Demonstrates Execution: Applicants should be able to sufficiently demonstrate how they will deliver the project and also highlight any similar successful projects completed in the past.
- Unique Contributions: Projects should be able to uniquely add value to the Verse ecosystem.
- Security and long term sustainability: Particularly in the case of dApps or third party integrations, projects developers should ensure that their code is secure and be committed to maintain their project for a period of time after grant completion.
In addition, we look for grantees / partners who:
- Are and/or have demonstrated commitment to Verse as participants of the Verse ecosystem
- Demonstrate high integrity and competency in the areas they are applying in
